TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bogor Regent Ade Yasin announced that she was tested positive for Covid-19 after carrying out a swab test on Sunday, November 15, 2020. The Regent claimed she routinely conducted medical checkups related to the coronavirus disease.
“I routinely carry out a swab test, and my last result came back positive,” said Ade in a written statement today, November 18, 2020.
Ade explained that the day before she was found to get infected with the virus, she had a negative swab test. Yet because of having a fever, she initiated to undergo another test.
“I feel like I have a fever in the afternoon, but [my body temperature] was not high, so I asked to be tested again and the result was positive,” said Bogor Regent who is also the head of the region’s Covid-19 mitigation task force.
Ade was now undergoing independent isolation at her residence in Bupati Pendopo or Regent’s Hall, Cibinong, as advised by the doctors from the Cibinong Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
She further appealed to all residents to always comply with the predetermined health protocol against Covid-19. “Please pray and support me for a speedy recovery so that I can return to my usual activities. I also pray for all residents of Bogor Regency for health and free from Covid-19,” Ade Yasin said.
